What could more more fun and exciting then a Festival at the Farm! I kid you not when I say this, nothing warms my heart more then being in a farm setting along with family and friends, enjoying good food, supporting local business, and listening to great music!
My background story is that I grew up in small village in Brazil, surrounded by pastures and farms. Growing my own food, raising chickens and working at a our local farmer’s market with my Grandmother are a few of the highlights. Being at a farm brings me back home, and I think that independently of what each of our story is, the connection found there not only as an individual but as a community, is incredibly valuable.
Whether you have a personal connection with the farm setting or not, the Festival at the Farm is a fun event for everyone! And what I mean by that is, there is food and music! In fact I’m a strong believer that food brings people together. Food lifts our body, soul and connects to one another.
And this is exactly what my friends at Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs are doing! For four generations, Pete and Gerry’s have been committed to producing organic, free range and certified humane eggs. Every Pete and Gerry’s farm is run by a small family who are passionate about their work and proudly supply free range, organic eggs to our kitchen every day!
