Apple Pie French Toast

This Apple Pie Breakfast French Toast is a delicious fall inspired recipe with oats, cinnamon and served with warm maple syrup.

  • 9 slices organic seeded bread
  • 2 whole honey crisp or gala apples, sliced
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp old-fashioned oats, divided
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk, of choice


  • Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan and set aside
  • Add eggs, sugar, cream cheese, 1 tbsp oats, cinnamon and milk to a blender cup and work it for about 30 seconds or until uniform. This should still be a grainy consistency. 
  • Arrange the bread slices in loaf pan. If the bread is too wide you can cut off the sides. Place apple slices in between each bread slice
  • Pour egg batter over the bread. Make sure everything is covered 
  • Top with remaining oats, add extra cinnamon if you like and bake for 30 minutes or until bread starts to brown around the edges. 
  • Serve with warm maple syrup and any additional topping that you may like. My favorites are granola and nuts!
