Apple Pie French Toast
This Apple Pie French Toast is a delicious fall-inspired breakfast, served with cinnamon, granola, and warm maple syrup it makes for a decadent start to your day.

- 9 slices organic seeded bread
- 2 whole honey crisp or gala apples, sliced
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp old-fashioned oats, divided
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk, of choice
Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan and set aside
Add eggs, sugar, cream cheese, 1 tbsp oats, cinnamon and milk to a blender cup and work it for about 30 seconds or until uniform. This should still be a grainy consistency.
Arrange the bread slices in loaf pan. If the bread is too wide you can cut off the sides. Place apple slices in between each bread slice
Pour egg batter over the bread. Make sure everything is covered
Top with remaining oats, add extra cinnamon if you like and bake for 30 minutes or until bread starts to brown around the edges.
Serve with warm maple syrup and any additional topping that you may like. My favorites are granola and nuts!
