Chocolate Date Energy Balls

- 1 cup medjool dates, pitted
- ½ cup creamy almond butter
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 2 tablespoon cacao powder
- 1 pinch sea salt
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- Maldon salt
Add first six ingredients to a food processor and pulse until mixture is well blended
Using your tablespoon measurer start to form balls, rolling between your hands until mixture sticks into a ball shape
Transfer chocolate balls to the fridge for at least half hour. Alternatively you can place it in the freeze for 10 minutes
Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips either in the microwave or double boiler
To coat the chocolate balls with melted chocolate you can either dip the chocolate balls into the melted chocolate or you can drizzle melted chocolate over the balls to coat.
Add a pinch of Maldon sea salt on top of each chocolate ball and bring back to the fridge to set.
Keep chocolate balls in air tight container
