Creamy Brazilian Hot Cocoa
This creamy, thick and rick hot cocoa recipe makes for an irresistible treat that will melt your cravings away!
Servings: 2 servings
- 3 cups milk of preference
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 4 tbsp 100% cocoa powder not hot cocoa mix!
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 shot of espresso totally optional but a must try!
Heat the milk in medium-low heat for about 5 mins. Add the condensed milk and stir for 2-3 mins (wooden spoon or silicone spatula works best!). Add the cocoa powder and keep on stirring.
Meanwhile melt the chocolate chips in the microwave. Add it to the hot milk and stir non-stop to avoid from sticking to the pan, about 10-12 mins.
When the hot cocoa is creamy remove from heat and add in the expresso shot and stir briefly before serving (optional).
