Chunky Almond Butter

Ingredients

  • 16 oz raw almonds
  • 1.5 oz honey
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Place the raw almonds into a food processor or high speed blender and pulse.
  • This process will take you about 40-45 minutes and you will need to stop every few minutes (3-4) to bring the ingredients together as they tend to stick to the sides of the blender.
  • Half way through you will notice the almond (flour) start to become moist, that's the separation of the oils from the nut. Keep blending.
  • When the almonds reaches the smooth consistency that you desire, add the honey and a pinch of salt and pulse again one final time for another 3-4 minutes.
