Turn IP on sauté mode and add oil. When oil is hot add in onion, carrots, celery and garlic. Sauté, stirring occationally until vegetables have softened (10 minutes)
Now add the broth and water, mushrooms and wild rice. Stir well. Finally add the bay leaf and fresh thyme.
Turn off sauté mode. Cover the lid and turn valve in lock position. Cook on high pressure for 22 minutes. Allow for 5 minutes of NPR then release all remaining pressure.
