Thai Basil Beef Stir Fry

- 1 - ½ lb skirt steak thinly sliced
- 1 onion sliced lengthwise
- 4 cloves garlic minced or sliced
- 1 red bell pepper sliced lengthwise
- 1 green bell pepper sliced lengthwise
- 2 oz fresh Thai basil or sweet basil
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Slice skirt steak as thinly as possible then season well with sea salt and pepper
Heat oil in a wok pan or large cast iron skillet. When the pan is hot add in beef in a single layer. Cook for about 4-6 minutes on each side or until the beef is nice and browned. *do not stir the beef* Transfer beef to a plate.
Add the onion, garlic and bell peppers and sauté until softened.

Push veggies to the sides of the pan and add beef back in.
Top with Thai basil and toss toss toss to combine until basil has wilted (about 2-3 minutes)
