Passion Fruit Mousse Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can cream of milk (creme de leite) or 12oz of heavy cream
  • 1 cup passion fruit juice from concentrate

Topping (optional)

  • 3/4 cup passion fruit pulp with seeds
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • add condensed milk, creme de leite and passion fruit concentrate to blender cup and pulse for about 30 seconds, no longer than 45 seconds. The key to good texture is less blending! Alternatively you can whisk these ingredients until well incorporated.
  • Pour onto a pie dish and refrigerate for 6 hours to set.

Optional Topping

  • Whisk sugar and corn starch in sauce pan with water to dissolve. Turn burner on medium heat, add passion fruit pulp with seeds and keep on whisking until it starts to bubble (about 10 minutes).
  • Let it cool off completely before adding on to passion fruit mousse.
