- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cups Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1/2 tsp cloves
Topping
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter
Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour and spices and give it a mix to combine. Add the Greek yogurt and mix until the flour and Greek yogurt are incorporated and a thick dough forms. Then use your hands to knead it a few times until smooth.
Divide the dough into 10-12 equal pieces, depending on how big or small you want your bagels. Roll each one into a rope, then connect the ends to form a bagel shape.
Place the bagels on your prepared baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Meanwhile in a shallow bowl, mix together 1 cup sugar with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. This will be your cinnamon sugar coating for the finish.
Once the bagels are done and while they are still warm from the oven, brush them lightly with melted butter and dip or sprinkle generously with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Let the bagels cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or toasted with butter, cream cheese, or clotted cream.
