Milk Frother Method
Add 8oz (1 cup) of nut milk of choice (make sure the ingredients are whole30 compliant) I used coconut milk. Press start. Once the frother stops, add in the cocoa and mix again. Lastly, add in Vital Proteins Collagen Creamer Mocha and mix one last time. Set aside
Whisk Method
Add 8oz (1 cup) of nut milk of choice, along with cocoa and Vital Proteins Collagen Creamer Mocha and whisk vigorously until the ingredients have integrated and mixture is smooth. Set aside
Espresso Shots
If you have an espresso maker, brew 2 espresso shots. They are about 2oz each. We are looking to get about 4oz of espresso. Obviously the intensity of you latte is a personal choice. This said you are free to add more or less espresso according to your preference.
If you do not have an espresso maker, you can use instant espresso packet or even brew an espresso coffee or darkest/ strongest coffee you can find. Again, I used 4oz of espresso but you can use more or less, according to your preference.
Milk Froth
Lastly, you will need to make pure milk froth for that foamy top layer of your mocha latte using the remaining milk. All 3-methods above will work, but the results will depend on the method. A milk frother will yield the most froth, second the immersion blender and finally whisking.
