Snowflake Sugar Cookies (Gluten-Free)

  • 2 cups gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup grass fed butter room temperature
  • 1 cup organic sugar cane
  • 1 free-range egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tub organic vanilla frosting


  • Whisk the dry ingredients in a small bowl
  • In a medium size bowl, whisk the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Pour half of the flour mix into the egg batter and mix. When combined, add in the remaining flour and mix until uniform
  • Place the cookie dough on a floured surface or between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out until about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Using a snowflake cookie cutter, shape the cookies and remove remaining dough to roll out again and repeat the process, until all the dough in gone.
  • Bake at 350F degrees for about 7 minutes or until just before the edges start to turn brown.
  • Let it cool off completely before frosting the cookies. Add sprinkles of choice.
