The moment you cross that seasonal line and everything magically starts to flourish and bloom. The Sun wraps around the earth a little brighter, encouraging all living things to come out and play. I like to think of Spring as the miracle season, where there is an opportunity to put our dreams into a tiny seed and watch it grow into a world of possibilities!

Alright, I really don’t mean to get all philosophical, and as much as I believe that Spring has the power to deeply touch my heart, I am really just looking forward to having fun, to enjoy the sun and get started on my herb garden. Not much to ask, right?

So I head over to my local Target Store to gather all the garden necessaries, tools, seeds, pots and planters (I’m a huge sucker for flower pots!) along with my favorite crackers for a fun afternoon project. I love it that Target is my one-stop for all the things I need, to keep this project short and realistic, given that life seems to speed up on us around this time of year.

I find that growing a few herbs and salad greens on a window sill or in pots is ideal and fits most household requirements, plus it’s much easier to take care of and have access to, rather than planting herbs on the ground, although that works really well too if that’s an option. This yearly project is done in a short amount of time, now it’s time to watch it grow!

As I finish my herb garden project, it’s nice to sit back and enjoy a tasty RITZ Cracker snack. This RITZ Cracker with honey cantaloupe jam and fresh dill invites me to contemplate on the idea that -planting seeds is trusting that something wonderful will grow. What an amazing concept, think about it!

This delicious Honey Cantaloupe Jam is slightly sweet with a hint of lemon. It makes for a fun and tasty RITZ Cracker topping complemented by a fresh herb such as dill or perhaps fennel or rosemary. But really, there are so many ways to enjoy the season with RITZ Crackers, see for yourself!
