This easy One-Pan Honey Mustard Salmon recipe is packed with bold flavors and seasonal veggies. Roasted to perfection, you can count on this quick and easy baked salmon with veggies for a delicious weeknight meal!

If you love a quick, no-fuss meal that delivers big flavor, this One-Pan Honey Mustard Salmon is for you! Inspired by my popular Sheet Pan Honey Mustard Chicken, this salmon version is equally delicious, flaky salmon coated in a tangy-sweet honey mustard glaze and roasted alongside crisp, caramelized vegetables. The best part? It’s ready in 30 minutes!

One pan salmon recipes have a special place on my table. For one, salmon is the only fish I can get all our four kids to agree on so that’s a no brainer. And the whole idea behind one-pan meal just makes my life a whole easier and that’s always a win.

What to expect from this one pan salmon recipe:

Quick and easy – ready in 30 minutes with minimal prep.

One-pan magic – less clean up, lots of flavor

Nutritious – salmon is high in Omega-3s and packed with veggies

Versatile – change up the veggies for what you like or have on hand (see recommendations and substitutions below)

Ingredients

for this recipe you will need:

  • Salmon fillets – Wild-caught or farmed, cubed
  • Honey mustard glaze – Honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, olive oil
  • Vegetables – Broccoli, bell peppers, summer squash and red onions
  • Seasonings – Paprika, oregano, old bay seasoning, salt and pepper

Variations and substitutions

  • Swap out salmon for swordfish. Swordfish being a meaty fish will hold its shape well for this recipe, however you can use cod, haddock or trout.
  • Use maple syrup instead of honey
  • Try a mix of different seasonings and herbs such as dill, seafood seasoning, garlic herbs or any other seasoning mix you enjoy.
  • Substitute the veggies for zucchini, brussels sprouts, asparagus, sweet potatoes.

Cooking instructions

  1. Prepare the honey mustard glaze – combine the olive oil, dijon mustard, honey, paprika, old bay seasoning, garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside.
  2. Prep the salmon and veggies – try your best to cut everything about the same size so they cook evenly. Spread salmon and veggies on to a baking sheet.
  3. Add in the sauce – pour the honey and mustard sauce all over the salmon and the veggies. I wear a kitchen glove and toss everything in using my hands until everything is generously coated in sauce.
  4. Roast to perfection – bake at 400F degrees for about 20 minutes until salmon is flaky and all the veggies are cooked through.
  5. Serve and enjoy! garnish with fresh dill, maybe a slash of lemon on the salmon and sever over rice (my favorite combo!)

You can keep all the veggies separated or mix everything, both are totally fine. I keep the veggies separate so that everyone can grab what they like.

Expert tips for the best honey mustard salmon 👇🏻

🐟 Use skin-on wild salmon for best flavor and moisture

🥦 Cut the veggies evenly so they cook at the same time

🍯 Adjust sweetness according to your taste. As you mix in the sauce give it a taste, add more or less honey, adjust it with tangy dijon mustard.

⌛️ Make ahead tip – prep everything and let it marinate in the fridge for up to 3 hours before cooking.

👩🏻‍🍳 Use a baking sheet that is large enough to hold everything without overlapping so the salmon and the veggies cook thoroughly

Serving suggestions

Pair this salmon with honey and mustard sauce with:

Any type of rice! My two favorites are this Garlicky Carrot Brown Rice so simple yet so delicious or this Garlic Fried Rice with Swiss Chard, this rice has a burnt texture that’s to die for!

Since this salmon recipe already has all the veggies, you might want to serve it with a side of green salad. This Brussels Sprouts Kale Green Salad is just so easy, simple and perfect side kick to this colorful salmon meal.

I always say, keep it simple! When I started this blog I had four little kids at home so I really needed to keep things easy and simple. Although they are all in college now, I still like to keep it simple at dinner time. You may just need a loaf of bread on the side and you’re good to go! Try my Air Fryer Garlic Bread, or this No Knead Artisan Bread.

I hope you will love this One-Pan Honey Mustard Salmon as much as I do! If you try it, let me know in the comments or tag @gardeninthekitchen on Instagram so I can see your delicious creations!

  • 4 salmon filets cubed
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 whole red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 whole red onion, chopped
  • 1 yellow squash cubed

Honey Mustard Glaze

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard

Notes

👉🏻 Be sure to grab a baking sheet that is large enough to hold everything without much overlapping so the veggies and salmon cook thoroughly.
