There is nothing wrong with snacking between meals, as long as its done in moderation. The key is to opt for foods that add nutritional value, doesn’t take away your appetite or turn into sugar.

Have you tried adding chickpeas to your diet? I know chickpeas (also called garbanzo beans) can be rather intimidating and yes they look like bird food haha, however chickpeas are quite tasty and filling, offering a ton of protein, fiber and other nutrients into your diet, without a lot of calories.

Aside from the classic Hummus recipe we all love so much, roasted chickpeas are another way you can add this nutritional low carb and delicious food to your diet.

Roasting chickpeas is very easy, takes little time and effort and only requires a few ingredients.

These Spicy Roasted Chickpeas are the perfect snack to have around the house. This is also a delicious option for a healthy snack on-the-go, to take along short trips or to serve during a party.
