Summer is finally here and with that comes a shift from indoor cooking to outdoor cooking. And, of course, with outdoor cooking and grilling we get S’mores. Though traditionally prepared over a campfire, this version of this famous recipe lets you enjoy all the goodness of summertime s’mores inside.
What are S’mores?
In case you didn’t know, s’mores is actually a contraction of the words ‘some’ and ‘more’ as anyone indulging in this sweet treat would obviously want to eat more of it.
Popular in North America, s’mores are often prepared by cooking a marshmallow over an open flame and then eating it sandwiched between graham crackers and a piece of chocolate. This creation dubbed s’mores is ooey, gooey, chocolatey and super yummy.
Though similar in taste, this brownie s’mores dip has all the same mouthwatering flavors in a dip. A brownie base with added chocolate chunks is layered with more chocolate chunks and marshmallows and then broiled so the marshmallows turn a golden brown. Graham crackers are then dipped into this chocolate-marshmallow goodness so you get the amazing fusion of flavors and textures.
