Brownie (and) s’mores teamed up to create this utterly delicious brownie s’mores dip. This ooey gooey chocolate marshmallow dip is a must try!
We are talking campfires, summer nights and free pass to chocolate land galore!
It’s s’mores reason! Get the skewers, light the fire… who’s bringing the marshmallows?
The word is out and it starts a buzz. But not the kind that stings 🙂
The ritual is always the same. Fun, laughter, bug spray scented hugs. We gather by the fire. Who is best at telling stories?
The fun goes on, as we pass around the bag of marshmallows. So fluffy and sweet like summer dreams. Fingers sticky, some got in the hair but we show little to no care.
We leave our worries in the woods, and for that moment there is no schedule, time, to-do lists… This is the moment to love, to cherish, to treasure.
Summer is finally here, so let’s make some S’MORES!
Okay, so that was a bit cheesy, but that’s what summer + s’mores + brownies will do to you. Put together in one sentence (or plate) and forget about it.
In all seriousness however, I am super excited to share this brownie s’mores dip with you simply because it would be a crime to keep it to myself.
As you know, I have a love affair with s’mores ever since I made these no-bake s’mores bars. It changed my life! Dead serious friend! Summer comes and wherever I go, people want me to bring the s’mores bars 🙂
This alone got me brainstorming for other delicious s’mores ideas that are super convenient to bring places or enjoy at home (no fire required!)
So I decided on a ooey gooey, jaw dropping, finger licking brownie s’mores dip!
Did I do good?
I can only hope so. In my humble opinion, s’mores and summer are the perfect formula to create memories, share smiles and have a good time. So here it is, no fire required brownie s’mores dip, with a melted chocolate center and toasty marshmallow top!
Brownie (and) s’mores teamed up to create this utterly delicious brownie s’mores dip. This ooey gooey chocolate marshmallow dip is a summer must try!
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, + more topping
- 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- 1/3 cup cane sugar
- 3 whole eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- 8-10 pieces large marshmallows
- 1 pk graham crackers
Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees. Line a 9x5 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large skillet melt butter. Add chocolate chips and whisk until it starts to melt. Remove from heat and continue to stir the chocolate until completely melted and smooth.
Add both sugars and fold with a spatula until the sugar has been fully absorbed.
Add in eggs, one by one and mix to combine.
Now add the vanilla, sea salt and give it a quick stir.
Finally add in flour and cacao powder by pouring both into a sifter and sifting flour and cacao powder into the brownie batter. This will avoid batter from clumping up. Stir until creamy and smooth
Pour brownie batter into baking pan. Top with marshmallows (as much or as little as you like) and bake for 25-27 minutes. It’s done when toothpick inserted comes out clean around the edges and wet-ish when inserted into the middle.
Remove from oven and allow it to cool off for 5 minutes. Then use the parchment paper to lift the brownie on to a serving platter. Cut into bite size pieces. Serve with graham crackers and extra marshmallows
