How To Make This Buffalo Chicken Dipping Sauce

Step 1: Combine cooked chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, and hot sauce in a big bowl and then stir in half of the cheddar cheese and all of the mozzarella cheese. Stir well to combine all the ingredients. Note the mixture will be very thick.

Step 2: Transfer the chicken-cheese mixture to a cast iron pan or baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.

Step 3: Bake at 350F degrees for 30 minutes, top with scallions/green onions and serve with tortilla chips, carrots and celery.

Tips and Variations

Change up the cheese. Choose any variety of vegan cheeses. I do recommend a combination of white and yellow cheeses. You could also sprinkle on some nutritional yeast for more cheese flavor.

Add more spice. Stir in a chipotle in adobo sauce or add red chili flakes for even more of a kick or substitute one of these options for the hot sauce. You could also add some chopped jalapenos.

Make it vegan. Use your favorite canned beans or chickpeas instead of the shredded chicken.
